How to Enable in stream ads for your live stream || Facebook Live ads

Earn money from your live streams with in-stream ads. You can enable in-stream ads directly in Creator Studio.

Set up in-stream ads for Live
Once you meet the eligibility requirements, follow these steps to onboard to in-stream ads:

Go to Creator Studio.
Click Monetisation on the left-hand side of the menu to review your Page's in-stream ads for live eligibility status
If eligible, click Set up.
Select your Page.
Review the terms and conditions, then click Agree to Terms.
Set up your payment account.
Submit your Page for review.
Facebook will review your Page to ensure that it meets our Partner Monetisation Policies and in-stream ads requirements. When the review process is complete, you will be notified by email and in Creator Studio. If your Page was not approved, please reference our Partner Monetisation Policies and In-stream ads eligibility best practices, and try applying again.

Note for gamers: Depending on your requirements for live gaming streams, your onboarding process might be different from what is listed above.

Enable in-stream ads for Live
Before going live, you can choose to show or not show ads before or during your broadcast. To manage these settings:

Go to Live Producer to set up your stream. From your Live Producer dashboard, you can access in-stream ads under Monetisation.

Click on the expand/collapse icon within the widget to access your default in-stream ads settings for your Page (this will take you to Creator Studio).
Toggle on the option to include ads by default under Live videos in Creator Studio > Monetisation > In-stream ads > Settings. You can choose to have ads on by default for live videos and for previously live videos.

Go live from your device.
The default settings you choose for your Page will apply to all your live streams until you change it. Changes to your live ads settings on a broadcast-to-broadcast basis can be made in Live Producer > Stream settings > In-stream ads.

Note: If you turn off in-stream ads prior to going live, you will not be able to turn them on once live. However, mid-roll ads can be toggled on or off while you are broadcasting live.

Note for gamers: Depending on your requirements for live gaming streams, your setup process might be different from what is listed above.
